The .NET Rocks! Visual Studio 2010 Road Trip (San Diego)
Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
San Diego, CA
For the second time the San Diego .NET Developers Group is helping to host the .NET Rocks! Road Trip!
Carl and Richard are loading up the DotNetMobile (a 30 foot RV) and driving to your town again to show off the latest and greatest in Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0!
And to make the night even more fun, we’re going to bring a mystery rock star from the Visual Studio world to the event and interview them for a special .NET Rocks Road Trip show series.
Along the way we’ll be giving away some great prizes, showing off some awesome technology and having a ton of laughs.
And one lucky person at the event will win “Ride Along with Carl and Richard” and get to board the RV and ride with the boys to the next town on the tour (don’t worry, we’ll get you home again!)
So come out to the most fun you can have in a geeky evening – and find out what’s new and cool in Visual Studio 2010!
You must register (FREE) to attend. For more info, go to: http://www.dotnetrocks.com/roadtrip.aspx
Make sure you bring your event registration to exchange for a ticket to win one of these awesome prizes (subject to change):
- Telerik – Premium Collection
- DevExpress – Code Rush & Refactor Pro
- Red Gate – Memory Profiler Pro
- GrapeCity – Dynamic Reporting
Food will be catered by local Mexican restaurant Tio Leo's. Food service starts @ 5:30.
When & Where
San Diego .NET Developers Group
This group was created in 1994 by local programmers for the purpose of exchanging useful information relating to Microsoft Visual Basic and related tools and has now grown into the .NET technologies. Our meetings include topics on .NET itself as well as database, software design, software management, internet, and software business issues. In short, we encompass the entire process of software development and tools from a .NET-centric angle. The group is run exclusively by volunteers. Our meetings are designed specifically to provide information that is of practical benefit to programmers of any level of knowledge, from novice to expert. Each meeting is normally structured with two presentations for a greater variety of information. We also attempt to help with specific problems and questions outside of the main presentations in a one-on-one meeting with a knowledgeable volunteer.
